Fwiw I have ridden every day for the last several months (as far back as I can remember) including the last few days in the rain.
My gear has kept me warm and dry and comfy.

I ride all year round rain and shine in all kinds of weather (I try and avoid riding when there is ice and snow on the road. Don't always succeed.)
My current gear has works for me from -18c up to +38c (-18 for an hour or so, -10 all day)
Aerostich Roadcrafter R3 goes over everything else...
Lube with every tank of gas and after every ride in the rain. Never "clean" the chain. Using Wurth HHS2000 (Althiugh I don't think the brand used is that important.)
I worked up to it over 600,000 km of riding. This is not reading what some internet "expert" has said but real world experience...
Drivers/riders should almost always treat left turns at intersections as "late Apex" anyway. It's safer. This just forces drivers/riders to do so.

If you really like F1 and want to watch all three practices and all the qualy and race with no commercials get F1 TV. You can watch on smartphone, computer, tablet and Roku. (Either on Roku stick or Roku app if your tv is so equipped.)

My work is considered an "essential service" and my job requires me physically be at work. Our company has provided employees that have to go to work with a letter saying we are required to commute.
