The crotch seams in my Rev'it mesh pants started to fail. Lots of stress at that point. I just darned the crap out of the area on the sewing machine. Yes, I bonded the outer and the inner layers, but solved the problem.

Seems to me that if it doesn't have the bypass button its not worth having.

I don't want to waste time with either. I just want a unit that will boost a totally dead battery. Is it common for a battery to not die entirely, and stop discharging at 2 V? Seems kind of counter to the objective, if it won't start a totally dead battery. That's supposed to be what its for.

Now you guys have me confused. I thought that button was the feature to look for, so you don't have to screw around with extra batteries, 9V, etc. I'm gonna get one. What should I look for? What should I avoid?

I did the same. Bought 3 Shad cases and mounts from Spain. They shipped from Netherlands. Cost half of what they would have here.

Between me and my 2 buddies we have 4 bikes that take that battery. If it's still available, I could use it. Thanks!
