Everyone's perspective is different I guess. My wife and I had some friends get sick and others had life changing events just dropped on them. That is exactly why we DO ride. We just can't predict when we will not be able to ride ,or for that matter,live the way we enjoy. Best of luck...

Last year I got 13500 km's on. No big trips,but commuted every day and took the long way home quite often. We rode every weekend.
