Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Agreed. 120k so it's ready. I do a drain and fill on our Odyssey and started at 75k. It doesn't have a dipstick but has an oil level check hole (need to be level, at temp). I just measure what drains out and refill the same amount.

    George Chuvalo RIP

I wonder how much being able to take so many punches contributed to his dementia later in life. A wonderful career though and seemed like a classy fella even through being hit with so many losses in his family over the years.

    2026 MotoGP (spoilers allowed)

What's Bagnaia's issue (or has he just given up now that he's signed to a new team for 27)?

    Replacing a 2008 ST1300

How about a NC or CB750? Could get a DCT or E-Clutch version to help in traffic.

    Stocks

I use Tradezero and IBKR for non-reg accounts and Scotia's itrade for registered. Fee structures are dependent on account size and also many banks, including Scotia, allow commission-free trades if you keep an account with them.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I've never personally used the stuff but there is a glue you can spray on the mulch beds to keep them together. I'm sure it's not going to hold up to digging but it might be a deterrent.

The new lawn tractors are junk.

No I didn't, to be honest it didn't cross my mind as I've never used a mulch kit. May look into it if it helps the lawn.

    Two Day Ride Ideas

Suggestions for a two day ride, late September, midweek? Heading from Peterborough area will overnight somewhere (no camping) then head back. I'll say 600km per direction would be the max for this trip. Overnight location doesn't need to be fancy, just somewhere that has food and a chill place...

    RIP - Dolly Parton

Agreed. She was a class act the entire time and the world would be a much better place if there were a million (or more) Dolly's in it.

The new lawn tractors are junk.

Zero turn is gone and the new rider is here. It feels very well made and solid. Dielectric grease put in the fittings and bypassed the reverse-mow button. I gave all metal a WD40 coat and the plastic and seat got protectants as well. Should last a while.

    New Yamaha coming...

There's rumours of a 900ish Tenere. Maybe there's something special about it instead of using their current 900cc triple.

    Covered Bridges Ride

Sounds like a great ride even if it was cut short. I rode those Bancroft/Barry's Bay roads on Thursday, the day before, and agree they were in great shape (even Elephant Lake Rd which many state is bumpy). I saw at least 25 bikes out that day whereas most weekdays I'll rarely see more than 5.

    TV shows currently watching

Yeah I've heard it's a bit of a chitchow with people lined up for that. I stopped in Milbrook a while back and when I got off the bike realized they were shooting Reacher there. There was barely anyone there watching on (like maybe a dozen max). I stood on the sidewalk and watched some of the...

About 1.5acres of actual grass to cut but none of it is flat open areas.

The new lawn tractors are junk.

Did my 4th cut with my Z530M zero-turn and realized even though I'm not a lawn guy I usually actually enjoy the time I spend on my old lawn tractor and I just don't enjoy it while using my ZT. Called the dealer and asked if they'd do a swap for a tractor which they said was fine. New X380 54" on...

The new lawn tractors are junk.

I have an Ariens Platinum SHO 30" and it's a beast. 414cc motor chews through everything whether drifted 2 feet high, or wet and always blows it at least 50 feet away (usually more). Starts right up every time and is nicely weighted, auto-turn feature works flawlessly as well. I love mine and...
