Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Only some superchargers are open to non-teslas, many are still tesla-only. But they're slowly upgrading them to support all EVs.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I think this may have more to do with the charging network than the cars themselves. I was road tripping in the US during the thanksgiving long weekend (busiest travel weekend of the year) and only once had to wait to use a supercharger. The CCS chargers I saw were all always in use with many...

What is your opinion on Tattoos?

They used to be rebellious and cool 30+ yrs ago but now they're just conformist aren't they? I mean these days every other 50 year old office worker has them.

At what age did you start riding?

30 for me. I always wanted to ride, but while I lived with parents they never would have allowed it cause they viewed motorcycles as inherently dangerous. When I moved out on my own, during my 20s I lived in various sketchy apartment buildings in toronto so I didn't want to get a bike cause it...

Here's one reason why people hate motorcyclists

I don't get it... unless you're commuting, which these guys clearly are not, what is the attraction to riding in a city? 99% of the mileage on my bike was made outside of city limits.

Probably mostly due to them jacking up the price. Tesla originally said the base model would start at 40k, yet as of today the cheapest version is 82k.

Look good and have a lot of what people want in an off-roader: body on frame, solid rear axle, 500 mile range with the range extender plus you can bring extra fuel with you. I like the concept of a gas powered generator, they bridge the gap between PHEVs and full EVs.

2.8s 0-60 isn't not fast, that would beat even most motorcycles.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

You have kids and you drive places without stopping? That's surprising... I used to have some of those same concerns before I bought an EV but I found if you time your stops so you charge when you need a break it's not so bad. I've also found that frequent short charges are better than long...

Where is this cottage located that it would be so hard to get to? I've got over 38k on my Tesla and that includes lots of road trips all over Canada and the US, even in areas with minimal EV infrastructure like when I visited tahquamenon falls state park in michigan. There are very few places in...
