Frank seems like a good cop. I have watched most of his videos.

Does Toronto actually have a plan?

Money can only solve so much pain. Just because they don't care what the total project costs doesn't mean the layer above you is willing to pay for the time they waste.

Does Toronto actually have a plan?

It's not easy money. Dealing with morons whose only purpose in life is checkboxes is painful.

Does Toronto actually have a plan?

It's not always pocket lining. Much of the money is consultations and ass-covering. Nobody gets fired for making sure all the boxes are checked. The taxpayers have unlimited money to check every obscure box that can be found. If it was a normal company in a reasonable world, we wouldn't need 100...

    Where to get a puppy?

Humans get tubes cut, animals get balls removed. For dogs/cats that's an expensive operation. For livestock, it's an elastic band. They sell rubber balls for owners that want their dogs to have something swinging. Iirc Humans can use them too if they lose a ball and want balance back. They...

    Where to get a puppy?

Fred gets snipped in a few months. The kids don't appreciate when he lays on them and they can feel his balls.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Cool. Basically an electric CBR125 for a similar price point. Not as fun but cheaper to run. On an unrelated topic, a few houses away from me a guy has a Model S, an Allroad and a Lincoln SUV of some sort. Where the S parks, the driveway has substantially sunk. No obvious deformation with the...

With chains, that's probably fine. Image doesn't show whole load. Straps are hopefully added security and not only means of attachment.

    german parts - auto

What car did you get? I used to use GermanAutoParts.com and they were good. Sadly they went bankrupt years ago. It looks like they may be revived but I've never used the new iteration.

    german parts - auto

FCP if you live in the states is magical. Everything is MSRP but buy oil and filter or brakes once and every future change just costs you return shipping. From canada, the insane return shipping breaks the magic. Some people use them for cars that eat turbos so you can buy once, cry once. ECS...

The only reasonable solution is more hammer drills.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Starting with bev. I figured douggie was headed down that route when he cancelled plate fees. Scheduled safeties with per km charge based on weight. Solves a lot of problems easily. Makes some more problems like grift/extortion by shops trivially easy.

Proficat laser chain alignment tool feedback?

I don't know if that laser can do it or if you'd need to roll your own with a 3d printer and laser pointer but it would be much easier if the laser beam was on the top of the chain and not the outside. It looks like it may depend on the bike where the laser hits. You should try to get the laser...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Normally I use rockauto. They are much cheaper than buying in Canada (or at least were, not sure if Trump has messed anything up). 99% of the time, no issues. My last order had issues and they were annoying to deal with. I ordered rotors that they said fit my wifes car. They were 1.5" too small...

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

When the kids are older and less likely to damage the floor, you can put in something nicer than laminate. Personally, I prefer nail/glue down flooring over floating. Floating almost always sounds like cheap crap in at least one area.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

They have been spotted in Canada (with mfr plates). Arrival is theoretically in 2026 as 2027 models.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Hybrid batteries are smaller. They are often up high (eg under rear seat or trunk floor). BEV batteries are typically almost the entire floor pan of the vehicle. Try and run a quote for a non-tesla like a bolt and see if the price looks more like the tesla or truck.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Some incidents that would be relatively minor in an ice vehicle (like driving over a curb), can damage the battery. As there is no cost-effective way to guarantee the battery isn't damaged internally, the bump causes a write-off.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Probably but Tesla isn't known for easy parts availability. I have no idea if aftermarket (OEM style or upgraded) parts are available. Replacing suspension arms without a crash is strange. The bushings all fail over time but the arms are normally good for the lifetime of the vehicle.
