AR's are the preferred choice in 3 gun matches - even though limited to 5 rounds (just buy more mags and practice)

Or...
Use LAR AR pistol mags, ten rounds.

Or even better... Do what Gaoler did and spend thousands of dollars a year going to matches in the USA.
 
Hey that pop-gun that I bought is shooting really good, at least for a novice like myself. Due to heavy manual work in my back yard, I am not getting to the range as often as I would like and I really miss it.

Only actually counted this afternoon's session with the 17hmr.
155 clear ,100% confirmed kills in about 3.5 hours.
Went through 300 rounds of .22lr so far...
'Figuring an 80% hit rate... call it 240-250 with the .22.

Thats just my numbers... my two companions are probably doig about the same

Its been an extremely wet year out here which isn't good for gopher populations so targets aren't as abundant as in previous years... 'Still worth the flight though

The place we're at today and tomorrow is really populated so... we got lucky
