How would you strap down a Suzuki Burgman on a trailer?

Just because something is done, doesn't mean it was done right. Just because someone has never done something, doesn't mean they don't know how.

That's why I'm unwed living in sin with my partner, for going on a decade now, and we get along great... While most people who do get married end up getting divorced, and a lot of our friends are just "staying together for the kids".

But for the record, I've towed a Burgman several times and cosign what soulcatcher69 said. Maybe next time I'm pooping I'll see if I have any pictures.

When did you say you trailered a Burgman again?
Come to burger night, we can argue about it amicably.

*edit I do not mean this in an aggressive way, come out and have fun.

Awesome, finally someone with experience to answer the original question. Do us a favor and post the description and pictures on BurgmanUSA.com as well. It will be appreciated by a lot more people, I know my post was.

BTW, something proven to work is something done right by definition. No need for another straw man fallacy, we had enough of them in this thread.

Straps? We don't need no stinking straps...

With a good wheel chock (which includes the V-nose of a U-Haul trailer), all the straps need to do is keep the bike from backing out. The chock keeps the bike upright and the front wheel from moving side to side.

Soooooooooooo? Did you go look at it, or did the complexity of tying it down change your mind??? :P
No and no. Neither have I crossed this one with the Squeeze yet. (I've been married over 4 decades and have a garage full of toys, slow and steady wins the race my friend)

Part of the deal is we both know this maybe another motorcycle that I buy, plate, ride just enough to realize it doesn't play nice with my hips and then sell shortly after, likely at a loss.

This is my last ditch effort to find a hip friendly 2up ride that I'd be willing to tour on.

Wanna bring yours over and we'll swap rides? About 2 hrs will be enough to know.

Not a fan of straps either.

When I was researching restraint systems, two that I really liked the looks of was Bike Binderz:

As well as the Pit Bull. I already have a couple of their stands. Well-made.

But in the end, I just stayed with chocks and straps. Cheaper. 🤷‍♂️

Yup, it's surprising how much even used TRS pin kits are selling for. Plus you need a base installed wherever you want to use them, so limited flexibility while straps/chock are more portable.

But they're very good at holding the bikes down:

And you don't have all the limitation of having to reconfigure everything any time you want to tow a different motorcycle than you did the last time.
