BC Roads - What to ride, what to skip?

Lots rocks ;)

How are you going to be in Alberta in 2 days? It's 2 days to get out of Ontario.

Haha nobody is making it to edmonton from the GTA in 2 days on a motorcycle, and you're definitely not maintaining an average speed of 120, there's cops all over those roads. I got a ticket for going 98 in a 90 on hwy 11 somewhere near geraldton.

Left at 1:19AM July 19'th, arrived in Edmonton 8:27PM (local time) July 20'th.

East end of the GTA to Edmonton in under 48 hours, as planned. This even includes about 6-7 hours in a hotel getting a pretty decent nights sleep after getting across into MB on day 1. If I'd just done some power naps instead I'd have been in Edmonton for late lunch on day 2.

5 certified Iron Butt Association rides on this one including a Bun Burner 1500 (1500 miles in under 36 hours), Saddlesore 2000 (2000km in under 24 hours), Saddlesore 3000 (3000km in under 36 hours), and of course a plain jane Saddlesore 1600km.

Trip went well overall. Enjoyed ourselves, no problems with accomodations for the most part, no bike problems, great weather. Did around 12,000km total. Did not get to Yellowknife after the fact due to the forest fires. Plans are to get there this summer instead.

Many years ago I rode from New Orleans to Jacksonville Florida in a day, in the rain. If my memory is correct about 1800 kms. It was a good experience I'll never recreate.
