Baking during Corona

Picked up some fresh scallops yesterday and was able to do a better job on the cooking than last time. Nice sear and moist inside. At $50 a pound I don't often get to practice.
 
The pizza twists were a big hit. Basement pot luck block party in B's neighborhood. Awesome diversity. Uganda, Nicaragua, Nigeria, England, Thailand, East Coast and West Coast Canada, Iraq. The foods and desserts were unreal. Six year olds up to 83.
After all the bitching i (and we) do about immigration, last nite made me feel good.

100k immigrants a year is awesome. 1M a year is an unmitigated #%@$show.

I love to try food from elsewhere. Overwhelmingly I like it. I have found some things that I never plan on eating again.
