Looking for someone that will patch a tire, preferably in Niagara Region but I'm realizing that I may have to travel farther to get this done. Last person to do it for me was Ted Rose like 15 years ago lol

Rear. I still would greatly prefer a patch over a plug... if I can still find someone to do it
Brantford Motorcycles has said they might do it, so that's one.
If you can't find someone, just buy a radial tire patch kit from CT . Have someone remove the tire and patch it yourself. Pain in the ass doing it this way but its getting VERY hard to find someone who will actually patch a tire. ( not patch plug ) Depending on the size of the puncture this had been my go to repair method for the last 40 yrs unless it has been an emergency repair

I could make a long list of all the shops that refused to patch tires but I don't want it become vindictive or judgemental. Brantford Motorcycles remains the only one that was willing to consider it (and they currently have my wheel, but I won't hear if they decide it's patchable until after Thanksgiving)
Do you want it patched due to the location of the puncture or you don't trust plugs?
If they remove the tire and decide not to patch it, are you able to them to keep the tire off the rim and patch it yourself from the inside?
I trust a patch more than a plug, however I also think it is worth inspecting the inside of the tire. The object that punctured the tire (dead center of the tire) is still embedded in it and I'm not sure what it is. It would have been difficult to remove from the outside without aggravating the injury.
If they don't want to patch it I'll probably let the tire go - a factor is that I am probably not keeping this bike forever. It's one thing for me to ride on a plugged tire, it's another thing to sell it on to someone else.
