Was with Echelon thru NFP since 2021,
Full coverage, 1Mil liability, $500 deductible. 2018 Ninja 650 in Scarborough.
2024 rate: 1250/yr
2025 rate: 1450/yr
So I searched the interwebs, and landed back with Aviva thru Rider Plus for 1150/yr.
No thanks to NFP. When I called them to advise I'm changing providers, rep said they also rep Aviva. So I thought, why tf did your company not contact me about a far better rate then?
Lesson is that insurance is just legalized racketeering. I bet Aviva will raise the rates next year too
