I was flying to BC tomorrow and the strike killed that trip.
Since I'm off for the next 2 weeks, looks like the family and I will go away for a few days on Friday, which means I have the next few days (Tuesday to Thursday night) to go riding!

Anyone up for 1, 2 or 3 day ride somewhere?

I'm up for whatever, as long as there's good riding involved.

I’m planning to do my longest ride of the season up the North Loop on Thursday or Friday, but only if the weather’s 100% no rain.
Definitely not up to par with your ride standards though: “only” about 700 km (from Aurora)

Planning to ride all day, so it’ll be slow with lots of stops and chilling along the way—from one Tims to another ☕🙂.
Also, absolutely no questionable or gravel roads. All the same roads plus 518 across.

If you don’t find anything better to do, you’re welcome to join for full ride or part of it - all good, I'll just do my thing.

Maybe you can still head out to BC?
or have you pulled the plug on that idea all together?
Unfortunately our flight was at 8:30am today and it was cancelled last night. I took the refund instead of trying to get a rebooking. It was just a for a vacation and we've been there many times before, so we are fine to just go another time and let people who really need the flights take them.

We might go to la belle province and Tadoussac for 4-5 days over the weekend instead.

The weather is looking pretty great for both Thursday and Friday. I'd for sure be down to join on Thursday and if I'm still in town on Friday, I'd go as well on that day.

And 700 km from Aurora is about 800km from Mississauga, so that's a great ride. I'm fine with whatever:)

By the way - the 518 is in the worst shape it's been in many years. I was on it a couple months ago and it was very bumpy, with lot's of broken pavement in the corners. Too bad, because it's such a good road.
