Canal Rd entrance / exit closed

I think the cops using it for fishing were the biggest users. It's going to be worse now when there are crashes and it's even further between places to escape the jam. It closed a few weeks ago.
 
Those always felt dodgy to me, probably for the best

Dam I like going through that area to by pass 11 etc. But I felt this was going to happen as they were doing some road work last time I was around there.
 
In case anyone needs to make a quick escape, while it is officially closed, they still have only cones as the barrier. A bike could easily get through. Not sure if the chasing cop would plow through leaving a giant opening or if the cones would impede their progress.
