It seems we escaped most of the salt out in the east end, roads are clean in my neck of the woods and all the way up to Peterborough and points east.

Hoping to get out after work for a scoot somewhere to enjoy the longer daylight hours now.
I couldn't get a full day of riding in Monday (which is my day off work) because I had to pickup some tires for a client so that took my day until close to 1pm. We did have a dusting of snow overnight and travelled roads were all done. Did a loop traveling north side of Rice Lake then through Hastings, some back roads to Rosneath and then down to Grafton and Cobourg and home. Not quite 300 km. Unfortunately I had to take my car to work today because of bringing those wheels to work.

Tomorrow should be an even nicer day!

PSA - don't ride Younge. The whole area is under construction from the bottom all the way to St Clair.
I barely made it out of 1st.

rode it all the way up from lakeshore, no sweat!

Great day. Met @timtune @Wingboy @bigpoppa at the Forks
@Brian P hiding out getting his wheels fixed i guess.

Then down to works HQ in Etobicoke to chat with the owners, then Lakeshore to Yonge and all the way up to home.

If you didn't get out today you missed a good one.

Oh great, now I need to ride into the city at 2AM on Saturday or something to get the current photo tag location and not spend 8 hours in traffic lol.

Anyhow, I got off work an hour early and went for an incredible ride with a riding buddy, shot up to Lindsay via the backroads sweepers up through Ceasarea, over and up to Bobcaygeon, stopped for the obligatory pee and coffee at Timmies (I was surprised we were the only ones there on 2 wheels), and then shot over to Fenelon Falls and back down the 35 home. 210km after work, in March, and still home before dark - love it.

This was the first ride that I truly felt as one with the new ride and started to zen out, and I'm loving the sh!t out of it - definatley feeling like I made the right decision, and everything I'd read about these bikes has thus far proven true - lots of grunt, smooth as hell at speed (it's WAAAY too easy to speed on this thing), it feels like a 500# cruiser, not a 950# cruiser (It's insane how easy this thing is to throw around once you're underway, the weight is all low and the geometries are awesome) and, yes, it's the first bike I've ever owned where the stock seat is actually comfortable.

3 hours of wind therapy and I've got a big smile on my face.

haha yes there wasn't a problem riding it. Just slow.
It actually was interesting to see all the changes in the city, tons, and tons of new buildings within the past couple of years. Especially at Lakeshore, but also along Younge to about College.

I thought about heading to the Forks to see if I could catch you guys, but took me while to get out of the city, next time.

Any salt up in the Bobcaygeon area? Thursday looking ok so I figured to head around that area in the afternoon.
