For those who ride towards Muskoka. It looks like Swift Rapids Road is to be closed to off road vehicles. Large amounts of dumping and other damage. No access begins June 10. See "Save Swift Rapids Road" on Facebook

I'm a dirt newbie as well on a DRZ400. Planning to ride the DS route at a newbie/easy pace.

Recently joined OFTR/SCORRA. I'm pretty much done with road - looking to off road for the most part.

What did you think of these boots after a season of riding? Do they offer enough protection? Are they true to size?

Got my "Shipped" email yesterday and received my Olympia jacket today - right colour and size! I had phoned last Friday to inquire about the status of my order and was told they had no stock and were waiting on the shipment. Thanks for the heads up Shane!

No experience with the bags mentioned. I have Nelson Rigg CL 850 bags which hold quite a bit and have worked well for me on a V Strom. They are for sale. PM for more info if interested.

PM sent Shane. I have some Olympia Airglide mesh pants which have served me well for about 3 or 4 years. Adjustable knee armour, good length, flow air quite well and come with a liner for cooler and wetter weather. Quality is good and will likely replace them with Airglides again when the time...

I studied marketing at Humber College, graduated and worked as a salesman for a nameplate/decal company for a few years. I was really interested in aviation as well, got my private pilots license, then applied and got accepted to train as an air traffic controller. That led to 6 months of school...

Lee did all the classroom theory and rotated between the 3 groups during the riding portion. Lee is an excellent speaker....his instruction was superb!
