AWD is about getting the power down so it would not be a priority for me in the winter. I'd prefer a good set of winter tires and a manual drive for the winter (and ABS & traction control if you want to reduce the fun factor :)).

Check if GP Bikes is running any track days on the RDT.

Get the service manual and buy a multimeter and walk through the diagnostic tests for the stator, rectifier and battery. The manual was available on the zx6r forum a couple of years ago or pm me your email address. Buy a cheap 10 buck meter from parts source or crappy tire. I would suggest you...

How rough is the terrain in cross country...is it worth picking up a skid plate and pipe guard for the bike?

Sorry to be the one to tell you but if you qualify for vet class your old, that does not mean that your not a good rider, but it still means your old. I'm sure the twenty something crowd will agree. Lol.

That's easy. I guess I'll have to try enduro this year. Does anyone have suggestions for bikes to look at for enduro racing assuming ld like to keep maintenance time low. ld like to pick up a MX bike but I don't have the time to check valves every 15hrs, and engine work every 50+ hrs to ensure...

How does the fuelling work on enduro races? Do you need a pit crew to meet you at the gas stop? I read through the 2016 rules but it's not clear to me.

I totally agree that people should draw a line in the sand, I just think it should be pushed WAY back. There are a lot of risks that people take that if they had to fund personally (with or without the availability of additional insurance) might not do anymore. I don't believe great societies...
