Kawasaki Is About to Ruin 2-Strokes Forever

You joke but I actually have wanted to try that ever since I learned about that nifty emergency feature

    Prediction for `26 bike insurance.....

Rates *might* go up in 2026. I would put money on them DEFINITELY going up in 2027, if you retain all the now optional accident benefits

Kawasaki Is About to Ruin 2-Strokes Forever

Are you nuts? The "golden age" of the 2 stroke was 40-50 years ago, depending on who you are talking to. Do you also complain about automatic ignition timing, or that time they added filters to cigarettes? Transmission fluid isn't any good anymore after they took the whale oil out?

Doug has made insurance worse, again

As of July 2026, most Statutory Accident Benefits that were previously mandatory will now become optional. I am going to list them directly off the FSRAO fact sheet, along with their descriptions of what they do: Income replacement: Helps replace income you lose because of an accident...

    Insurance question - income replacement

You will be able to next year. I'm going to write a longer seperate post about it soon, but Doug made some changes again that I think are a net downgrade. Think insurance that is weaker or more expensive

    Cheapskates Corner

The only live sports I cared much about was F1, and it was specifically Speedvision's coverage. When FOX gutted Speed and turned into a NASCAR only channel, that was pretty much the end of ever caring about a TV subscription. (I haven't seen it in years, but TSN's coverage was an abysmal...

    Normal car recommendation….

FYI I've done that door cable job on my sister's van, same side too, if you have any questions I don't think that exists

    Cheapskates Corner

Ultra-cheapskate version (you are a student and have little money) - the beefiest unattended paperclips you can find The zipper pulls on old Joe Rocket gear were all dogshit for some reason. Like I swear they stamped them out of zinc

That is cleaner than I was expecting. Growing accustomed to seeing modern Ducs festooned with tubes, pipes, and cow bladders

Where are the Toronto Jays fans

As long as we're explaining things, can someone explain Trey Yesavage's compensation to me? Why is his salary $760,000 but his "adjusted salary" $57,204? What does that mean

Where are the Toronto Jays fans

Ehhh... I dunno. I could probably make it, as an experienced commuter. If you are a visitor to the city you might not figure out how the GO platforms work fast enough. Disembarking at Union is easier than embarking As an experienced commuter that has many a time shared the train with noisy Jays...

Why Is Motorcycle Oil So Expensive?

Rotella is NOT JASO certified, Shell is simply asserting that it meets JASO-MA2 requirements. JASO-MA certification costs money and oils that are certified display it prominently on the bottle along with a certification #, similar to how Dexos certification works. In fact most of the motorcycle...
