I enjoyed it, but if they had held off until 2013 when motoczysz took on the Goliath Honda with John McGuiness, it would have had more racing substance. That was a battle and a half, 2 seconds spread pitting Motoczysz ~$350k bike vs Honda's $4.3mil developed bike.
I've heard this tire slashing often, but I don't think it was confirmed was it? A possible explanation for a busted tire would be running over a metallic object like a bike's pegs and stunters cage.
Watched the video a couple of times, the closest the bike came to the car was right at the end when he creeped up at a crawl. Not sure how contact was made.
The stuttering is from his front wheel bouncing, not a hit.
Its more of a question of real time data for myself.
As you mentioned, you check your tires ten or twenty seconds after your pit in. Hey thats what I've been doing for the past two years and sure it works. I'm just finding myself wondering what is really happening during, thats my motivation...
Oh i see, so the 21psi cold would mean a greater variance when the tires warmed up. But keep in mind its always giving you updated psi measurements, so you always register within 1 psi of what it measures you at.
Any of you guys use this for monitoring?

I've used this on my street bike last year and its pretty good, shows PSI and Inner Temps. PSI tollerance is 1.5psi which seems fine. Ordered another for the track bike, just need to get it...
I've been forced to put 87 Octane in my bike before, luckily I was able to take the Octane boost canisters off the shelf to compensate.
I can't say what damage will be done, but essentially when you "knock" the piston detonation happens too early and will counteract the rotation of your crank...
