Any original connie owners? (Kawasaki Concours)

Had mine 14 years. I'll never sell it, due to the low technology situation. A bit cumbersome with a full gas tank, but you get used to that. I can ride comfortably down to -10 degress celcius, but it's an oven above 30 degrees, and only a Wing has better wind protection.

Corsa Meccanica no longer a Piaggio (Aprilia/Moto Guzzi/Vespa) dealer (?)

I had a fantastic buying experience at J&R in Stayner. Probably the best since the late eighties, although their product knowledge wasn't spectacular. Bought a non-current V7 racer a few years ago, and a tank blemish was cured with a replacement tank, in a few days. Couldn't ask for better...

    Anybody own a Kawasaki Z750S ??

Tire wear to the left of middle is normal. Roads in Ontario are crowned in the middle, so you're always riding on "slanted" to the right pavement. Most used bikes that come in with worn tires, are worn more on the left side.

need help replacing my clutch slave gasket in guelph

Any luck getting help with this? If your bike has a Magura hydraulic system, it may require mineral oil rather than hydraulic fluid, but there should be a warning in your owner's manual, or even on the master cylinder itself.

Buying Tires online - Best places and issues getting them mounted?

I can do the Shinkos in the wide white wall for $270, cash, taxes in, installed and balanced. Either the front or the back of both of the other tires you mentioned are on backorder right now. If I scratch your rims, I'll buy you brand new ones. I've been changing tires for 25 years, and have...

    Where is everybody buying tires?

I don't even try to argue with morons about Shinko tires anymore. Shinko has been around since 1946, and produce over 200000 motorcycle tires per month. Metzeler, for example, produces about 65000 tires per month, so which company is the "small" tire company? Shinko tires offer 80-90% of the...

    Compression Test when Buying Bike

Nope. Suzuki Savage 650 comes to mind right away, and there's more than a few of those running around. My Royal Enfield also has a compression relief valve, but it's electric, and kick start. My Enfield is also the proof that I use for idiots who say you can't "bump" start an EFI bike.

    Alpina dealer GTA

I put a set of Alpinas on my Ducati GT1000, but I had to get them from the states. There was no Canadian distributor at the time, and it appears that is still the case...

    Ducati scooter rumors

"Another weak sales year", my butt. Ducati posted eleven consecutive quarterly sales records, from 2008-2010 when all Japanese manufacturers were posting their biggest sales drops in their respective histories, in many cases. Suzuki didn't even export any 2010 models to the U.S., with the...

KTM RC390 Leaked to world...from Canada!

It took exactly 26 seconds with Google to confirm that the 690 Duke is made in India. I don't know about other KTM dealers, but we don't take deposits on bikes we can't get.

KTM RC390 Leaked to world...from Canada!

Duke 690 is made in India, and no 390 engines have been slated for emissions testing by DOT Canada, therefore NO bikes utilizing the 390 engine will be sold in Canada. I work at a KTM dealership.
