Ditched the silly big blowmolded case for my new torque wrench. The toolbox is much like the garage in that square footage is precious. If I was packing the wrench on a bike trip sure but just to ride slowly back and forth in a drawer seems like overkill.

A wise friend says "borrow for what you need and pay cash for what you want". Most people don't know the difference.

I agree 100%. I also believe everyone of those could be avoided or greatly reduced with simple common sense.

A short course in school on how interest works and the effect of various rates should be mandatory in my mind.

I don't buy it. Financial literacy is basically grade 6 math. If you make $100 you shouldn't spend $150.

The Ol Boy used to buy Rupp sleds and mini bikes from Snow City way back in the '70s.

Did this in Stratford, last fall I think it was. Pretty basic stuff but they did show how to remove a helmet safely if you need to.

Those pack up small but I've seen a couple fail on trips with my buddies. May have been knock offs.

When the Squeeze and I travelled on the Wing I always wondered if I should cover the bike at night. The thought being if it's under a cover it worth protecting and hence worth stealing.

I bought the 5x8 kit trailer from Home depot. Lots of bolts but it's cheap and works well.

That's why old logging roads are so awesome - never ending wood supply.
