    Buying a 2018 BMW

I've used 109 cycle on Warden for a change of tires before and they were nice guys. I think they do safeties as well.

Wanting to try trail riding, any suggestions on bike?

Thanks again for all the insights guys, I really appreciate it! At the moment I am leaning DRZ (note sure on S vs SM with knobbies) or potentiality going off the board with a Husqvarna Svartpilen, and just mess about finding roads on the weekend with zero expectations of them being a great and...

Wanting to try trail riding, any suggestions on bike?

Thanks everyone. Ok, so what I am gathering is that there is not really a good bike to travel to and from downtown Toronto to the trails and back, and my idea all together of the commute is probably not ideal. Due to lack of space the idea of having an off road only vehicle is never going to...

Wanting to try trail riding, any suggestions on bike?

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate the insight! For the DRZ, do you have an opinion of the S model (21 inch front) VS SM with dirt oriented tires?

Wanting to try trail riding, any suggestions on bike?

Thanks alot lightcycle! I would be coming from just east of the downtown core and ideally would like to ride out (highway or off highway is doable); I personally don't own a trailer (lack of space) and needing to routinely rent one would likely push me away from getting out there on the...

January Motorcycle Supershow - Jan 5-7 at International Center

It's been a few years since I've made it out to the show... for those that went today, are there any dealers selling bikes (new/used)?. I am in the market for a dual sport and was looking to sit on a few models and am open to buying if a deal can be had.

Ont. drivers might have overpaid $5B on insurance over five years

That was a fun promise.... I saw a 4-5% decrease in insurance costs ( while having benefits slashed, and if I wanted benifits to stau the same I would have had to pay 20%~ more)... Only for rates to go up 20% the next year. Good times, gotta love the insurance racket in Ontario.

Sellers unwilling to sell their bikes certified.. frustrating

It might sound like a simple request, but in the past I have dealt with a number of tire kickers for bikes in the past that demanded saftey certs. and what not, only for them to bail when it comes time to actually buy the bike. More often than not the difference between the selling price of a...

    Broker for TDMM?

This is nothing new.. I was with them in the past, left for a year and tried to get a quote again and they wanted you to jump through the hoops with a physical insurance application ad what not to verify rates... This orignialy came into effect when they introduced new tools to give rates, and...

    Total loss

Yeah, its unfortunate how bloated our insurance/ insurance repair facilities are; in the grand scheme of things you could probably DIY that repair for a few thousand, but the moment that its an insurance job and theirs some level of liability, the shop will nickle and dime it to death. As a...

    RBC/AVIVA HUGE increase

UPDATE. Apologies, I made a mistake in the percentage increase in price ( accidentally used 2016 numbers). Instead I saw an increase of 189%. Its not the bike that is the issue, but instead the rider ( late 20s, M for 4 years) as even a 50cc scooter was more than double my 2016, and 2017 rate.

    RBC/AVIVA HUGE increase

After years of my rates slowly but surely lowering, today I got my renewal from RBC/AVIVA and It was a shocker for sure..... 160% increase from one year to the next; good stuff. No accidents/tickets/etc. Does anyone has suggestions on companies for a 28 year old, M for four years, beaches...

Insurance: It pays to shop around

Not at all. This is completely normal for insurers to request this info... In the end they will verify the info themselves ( they pay for this info before finalizing the contract); they are just saving themselves and you time before going deeper into the contract.
