I am planning on using this hitch on a sedan to tow the fz6 about 4000KM one way. Anyone know of any disadvantages of using this type of trailer? Other than the fact that the rear tire will have more mileage on it compared to the front? Any other issues for the motorcycle...

Overnight on a tender is usually more than enough. Also, if the ride was over half an hour at over 3000 rpm thenit should have been sufficiently charged. Might need to get a new battery. Last thing you wan tis the battery to die on the highway or something.

Did you upgrade your bike? Btw heated grips can be had for $10 off of ebay. I have a pair at home need to install it.

Its pretty cold for long rides. Atleast on the fingers. Rode yesterday for about 60km around 6pm. Might be there during the afternoon though.

Bought a universal electronic flasher relay from Canadian tire (product number 20-1032-0) made by Tridon. Cost $9 plus change Works perfectly with the bike. But original plug needs to be spliced and connected directly to the flasher. Hopefully this helps someone in the future. Thanks all for...

Looked at ct website. The flasher they have is about $4 but does not look like it will fit the bike. Do you have part number for the digital one? Thanks for the help.

I called them all. Maybe they don't know these can be used for motorcycles and said no. Going to take a look at ct again. In Quebec right now.
