Looking for FlashTuneData flash for an R1

That is more like a dyno and flash tune, an actual flash tune on a common bike does not have to be rocket science if its a brand new model sure maps will not available so if you want everything corrected your average joe is not the person to go to at all. However if you are looking at something...

Rotella T on Sale at CT

My 05 R1 just got retired at 93k and the only thing I've ever put it in was T6, original clutch and its spent more than its fair share of time close to redline. It got T6 and car oil filters.

    Recommend in-ear replacement headphones?

because the thing that worked for me is the best thing to use, ever! The etyomics are imo the best you can get for the price, nothing else can really compete that I have seen\heard about. The other common name tossed around is the shure 2's, I had a pair and sold them pretty fast because to...

Helmets... how long should we keep a helmet?

They are supposed to be good for 5 years, and I imagine that is being pretty safe its probably realistically 6 maybe even 7. Add on the fact we cannot ride for such a long part of the year and if you do you sure are not sweating and id say its very safe to add on a few more years, if you were to...

    Boots with Ankle Hinge Design

Well since nobody jumped to sell me a pair of Daytona's in Size 44 I decided its now or never and ended up ordering a set. Now my wallet and children's college fund is significantly lighter.

    Boots with Ankle Hinge Design

Well since there seems to be so many people finding\selling their daytona's....if anyone has some laying collecting a bit of dust and they would fit id be happy to relieve you of them. Euro size 44 for my Astars but in shoes I'm normally 10.5. I need me a new pair of boots and id rather not...

What could be the best motor oil?

Not so much a best oil comment but more so a whats the cheapest half decent full synthetic oil that is 10w40. I've been a rotella T6 fan for all my years of riding and never had an issue, but now the bike has a warranty and its a long one to boot. That also with the fact that a 5w40 should by...

    Favorite Roads/Routes

shanekingsley that map in your signature is amazing. More people\places need something cool like that. If I'm traveling i like motorcycleroads.com it doesn't have everything but its got quite a bit. I have to agree with the whole leaving Canada to find good roads, as far as I'm aware our best...

Need Advice. Dealership is refusing to honor warranty (car)

Same for me, how else are you supposed to a judge a dealership or any other business especially while traveling. People on forums can work if you are on a forum that is local to it but Id need quite a few good reviews on a forum to overcome negative google\trip adviser reviews. I've found...

    Please help. I'm very confused.

I was talking about bouncing it off the rev limiter, but I also should have tossed a sarcasm tag on there anyway. Intentional backfires on the other hand always manage to give me a good scare when someone does it. For the record though, all my bikes have had good mileage put on them by myself...

    Please help. I'm very confused.

Rev bombing it on every ride a few times shouldn't be an issue if its not holding it for long periods of time. It shouldn't shorten the lifespan of the engine at all, since its only ever going to see 5,000-15,000km's anyway.

    CAA membership for motorcycle only?

I have CAA plus, I know there are some cheaper options out there but I have not found any that will do the same distance CAA will cover you for. I like it because when I go on a trip or out to the middle of nowhere I don't have to worry about a $500 tow bill. Plus the free maps are pretty awesome.

    I hate Tailgaters!!!

The guys who always seem to a new story about some "******* driver" they ran into just help narrow down the list of who I'm willing to ride with. Most of my "issues" with other drivers have been my fault over the years, in my mind anyway. They are 3500 plus pounds, if they can't see me its my...
