    Windows 12 Documents leaked

If you require Windows 7 or lower to run your app, you're not going to make that work on modern hardware, and you'll be relegated to doing this anyway. So really, aucune différence.

I suppose I get that but they are generally very vertical applications. And those you could run in Virtualbox or something on top of Linux, if absolute Windoze compatibility is required. Maximize the app and run it like it's just another app on your toolbar.

Honestly, I think the current versions are better than Windows in most ways. They install on modern computers and the interfaces are excellent. There's just TOO much choice for some people, but I guess that's a limitation of them, not the OS. Even the video drivers are pretty decent now...

I've been semi-retired for about 10 years. I work as needed, and as wanted. So probably 10 hours or so a week. If there's a downside it's that you can be doing something and get the doom call that means you have to drop everything and move into action.

    The great bass rig upgrade

Indeed. Nothing like a band where everybody plays bass.

    The great bass rig upgrade

Sometimes. Not a lot! I do more classic rock with the two bands I'm in and the occasional metal tune because ... hey, I like it. I mostly slap bass when I'm playing Steely Dan tunes, which is weird I know, especially when you learn that Don Fagan didn't want slap bass on his songs, but the...

    The great bass rig upgrade

I've been playing through a 500W Little Mark III bass amp for the past 11 years, and I have a Mark Bass F1 Limited 500W amp as backup. I own two cabinets, one 8 ohm 400W 2x10 cab and one 4 ohm 2x10 cab, which has allowed me to leave my gear at the rehearsal space and practice or gig with the...

    Anyone into gardening here?

We made 48 cans for ourselves. K eats tomatoes with just salt and pepper. We still couldn't give enough away. I'd estimate we got two full bushels.

    Anyone into gardening here?

Two of our three house gardens. This year I'm planning to expand considerably. The garden not picture generates so many tomatoes that we can't can enough, eat enough and give away enough, we still had to compost some. These two generated some hot peppers and a watermelon that was not tasty...

I'm aware. It's cooked for a decade or so now and it's really at the point where there likely isn't much that I have that is of concern.

I refuse to go beyond W10 hacked beyond belief to remove all the "spyware" features. And I only have that until I'm either done with some old strategy games, or they work flawlessly on Linux. Then I'm gone forever.

The Super Duke as well. I am with CAA. Wawanesa also dropped my 911 Turbo S because "it makes too much power." Which makes no sense, since they'll insure a Tesla Plaid, and the speed limit applies to all vehicles; the 911 has some of the most ferocious brakes you'll ever experience.

The 999cc version (2016). Yeah, the 1100 engine is too "big," never mind that the 999cc version makes 201hp according to the factory.

Wawanesa doesn't want my KTM. The engine is too big. They were fine with the RSV4 that makes another 25hp and goes an indicated 330kph. Make it make sense.

*checks stocks again* Yeah, my salary this year is pretty good. It's half what I made on my investments over 12 months. :o
