Looking for suggestions on what to buy

Not sure if this will come off as spammy, but essentially I'm trying to decide what to buy and I'm having hell of a time trying to narrow it down (yes, what a terrible problem to have :D) So as someone with only a couple of seasons under my belt and living in Toronto, the obvious restrictions...

Looking for help finding my keys tonight (right now)

This might be strange but long story short, my lanyard and keys fell out of my pocket while riding from midtown to downtown and back just a few minutes ago. I'm looking for people who are willing to come backtrack the route with me as additional sets of eyes. Might sound like a joke, but I'm...

Temperance street - one way between Yonge/Bay?

I've been confused since last year whether Temperance between Yonge and Bay is one way or not . I noticed do not enter signs posted facing Bay street this morning, I could've sworn those weren't there before (or I'm just blind and never noticed them). Cars also drove both ways down the street so...

Looking for advice: SV650SA vs FZ6

So I'm in a dilemma on which bike to choose between the two. I know some people will say I should just finish my first season on the 300 and upgrade next year after getting more km's under my belt. I'm not here to argue against that, but after 5000+km on the 300 this year I just want to try...

Quick question - any free parking near first canadian place?

Somebody on here must know where to park near FCP. I gotta make a trip down there this afternoon, doesn't seem like there's any street parking near there. On google maps I saw a little alley way off of Richmond west of Bay that had a row of bikes parked in it, can I park in there if there's a...

    Buying a beater bicycle

So I'm looking to buy a cheapo ($100-$150 cheap) bicycle to just ride around town for fun, ideally a road bike. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing when it comes to bicycles, I just know how to ride them. At the price range, I know I can't buy a new bike so I've been looking on kijiji. I...

What that rider did, yes illegal. But if you ride in the right lane in that instance (with the parked cars) and you can fit your entire motorcycle inside the lane, it's perfectly legal for you to do so. I actually wondered this and stopped to ask a police officer a while back. He said as long...

Probably could "convince" most drivers to give permission to push the car instead of receiving a ticket for blocking an intersection (which on a side note, is actually a municipal bylaw isn't it?)

Wonder if the cop would've still pushed by hand if he had a push bar on his cruiser

Yes officers have discretion, but if you start enforcing traffic laws according to vehicle size where does it stop? Should all stop signs be yield signs instead for trucks? Perhaps cars should be allowed to go faster than the posted speed limit since they're more nimble than trucks?

If I'm driving, I'll suffer through this BS but if I'm on my bike I never take this route during rush hour. I could just be paranoid but riding through that seems like just asking to get hit by an idiot dive bombing into a spot regardless of how careful you are.

Recommending small bikes for new riders in the GTA

So this has been on my mind pretty much as soon as I got my bike earlier this year. So it seems like the general recommendation you find anywhere is you should start on a 250/300 unless: - You have previous riding experience - You know you're gonna be doing a lot of highway But I think there...
