FWIW, a buddy of mine has gone though several bikes (he can't seem to keep one for longer than a year or so) and he says the FJ-09 is the best all around bike he's owned so far.

For whatever it's worth, I ended up picking up a naked SV650. Cleanest SV I've come across personally, and almost bone stock!
