    Buying my first sport bike soon...signed up to the forum to look around and get ideas

    One more +1 for the GS500! I picked one up as my first bike earlier this year and I'm loving it. They've definitely got a bit more oomph than the 250's, and they're pretty easy to ride/very comfortable because of the upright seating position. Mind you that position is not for everyone though...

    Just got into Riding!

    Hey Everyone, I just bought my first bike yesterday! I picked up a '06 GS500F, and just thought I'd say hi to everyone here. I've read alot of the posts on this forum and they've got tons of good information! Can't wait until the spring! Geoff
