Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

It's a housing crisis that is causing what we're seeing. Sure, grab them and lock them up for 24-72hrs and then they come right back out into what they were already in. Hopelessness and homelessness. We need to focus on housing first. It's proven time and time again that when given the...

And how short staffed are you guys? It's easy to build new jails, but it's a challenge to just staff the ones we already have.

What would you like them to do? The "why" is what needs to fixed here. Why are people openly doing drugs? Because they're homeless and hopeless. So either we can lock them all up and pay to house them in jail, or we can pay to create actual housing for them.

Has the city lost it's mind...

So you don't like how multiculturalism has played out everywhere forever? Got it. Little Italy, Chinatown, Little Portugal, ect... I don't think those places just popped up in the last few years when everyone became an expert on immigration. I also have no idea what you're talking about the...

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

I saw them in Goderich at least 15 years ago. I was surprised I never saw them here around the city. And of course it was always the elderly using them.

It's funny that you think a single crackhead mother and no father anywhere, gives a single F for the kid or society. The vast majority of these kids came from the worst situations you can think of, and they're getting by the only way they see. Then they get caught, go to jail (or get out right...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Give me speed cameras over speed bumps any day, all day. Cameras are annoying when people always seem to think they trigger at 40, so they go 30. But at least it's not, speed up, slow almost to a stop, speed up, slow almost to a stop, speed up......on and on and on.

That one got me. I was charged, but the crown withdrew them (after a small donation to Salvation Army). When I explain this to the border guard, he had no clue what I was talking about.

How does financing and different interest rates work at bike dealerships?

The best thing about credit scores, is that the number you see isn't the same one they see. https://www.equifax.com/personal/education/credit/score/articles/-/learn/credit-scores-lenders-vs-consumers/

This is why it'd be much better to be focusing on cars running reds, running stop signs, driving erratically, speeding through residential streets, etc... Bicycles may disobey signs, but when they do, they loose big time. When a car does it, the consequences for everyone else is much much higher.

There is currently a major storage problem. But I'd rather see more done to prevent needing that storage in the first place.

Motorcycle Safety Inspection - my experience June 2025

I got one done at TSR in Georgetown recently. It's a fairly new bike with low km's, so there were no issues. But unlike in the past where you could just show up and get one done, you now have to make an appointment. It took about an hour and cost $158.

I have a complicated ownership case here

If this is a street bike, run away. What is so special about this particular bike? If this is an offroad bike, then I could see this as legit. This same thing happened to me with one of my kids dirt bikes. The dealer never registered it in Canada, and since it was a dirt bike, nobody had...

#$%@ GP Bikes just made my life harder

I've had success using a chisel and hammer before. I put the chisel at a very slight angle towards loosening and tap it with a hammer. It may take a little bit, but slowly it will eventually loosen it.
