The Person I called in Alberta at their ministry of tranportation was actually from Ontario, and was able to answer the questions I had regarding comparable paperwork, so I got those questions answered.
As far as getting the bike from Alberta to Ontario, I seem to be having luck with Uship...
I decided to try calling the Alberta Transportation governing body and spoke to a very nice lady on the phone who explained everything quite well.
Documents needed to register vehicle in Ontario:
Vehicle Registration - Need the whole Document (Original)
Bill of Sale on the government...
The UVIP package is a must, its the official bill of sale -- how else can you register a vehicle with out it :) knowing the bike is not stolen, not salvage, just in another province.. just wanted to know if paperwork differs. The seller has never sold a bike privately before and isn't familiar...
Thanks, I checked but my questions weren't answered in that post... Bike is not stolen or anything.. I just am trying to find if they have different paperwork then what we have in Ontario, when I asked him for proof of ownership on paper he said "We don't have that" it seems a lot of stuff may...
Bike is in running order, should not be a problem to register
Thanks, I'll look into those shipping options. FLying to AB and driving back is not an option as I've got a baby at home and cannot be away that long to drive (And of course, taking time off work)
Hey Guys! I am interested in a motorcycle that is currently in Alberta. I need to find a way to get it to me in Ontario, so I am trying to find a transport method, would love some recommendations.
My second question is, is there any special requirements to register a bike from a different...
The person I spoke to on the phone today told me that it cost $120 for a broker to get my bike across the border. When I asked him if I were to ride the bike across the border, would there be a fee? He said no, but then claimed that it's different because my bike would be on a transport truck. I...
Hi All. I am looking to buy a motorcycle from my brother, who recently moved to the US and took his bike down with him. He's up for selling it to me (thats what having 2 kids in 3 years does!) and I'd like to transport it back here to Toronto.
The bike is still registered and plated for...
I've got a Rocket III and nothing compares. I also had an M109R for 5 years before I got the rocket. Much higher quality machine. Great balance. Has more power then you ever need, especially with hauling a passenger, its effortless.
This is an AMAZING back rest for the M109R. You can get this thing on and off within 2 minutes if you have the right screwdriver handy. According to my wife who enjoyed it, it is very comfortable. It even has a little storage bag on the back she can put all her makeup and accessories in while...
Yeah I will miss the folks there, the parts guy survived the last owners and he was funny and hard to understand at the same time, but a good guy and always came through with parts orders...
I wonder whats going to fill the space now.. used to be a Chrysler dealership before it became Hillcrest...
I have been eyeing a certain Triumph Rocket III Roadster but again, I have no idea where to get that bike serviced except for all the way in Pickering or in Woodbridge! Although who knows, it could be an easy bike to do maintenance on... doing my research!
I thought I was seeing things last week when I drove by the dealership after work and noticed the whole place has lights off, at 5pm... I tried getting to their website, its gone.. I called their number, it forwards straight to Suzuki of Newmarket.
It looks like the store has definitely shut...
Hey everyone. I live in richmond hill around Leslie and Elgin mills. I usually ride alone or with my wife on the back. I ride a yellow M109r but I don't care what other people ride, I like sport bikes and cruisers. Looking to see if anyone close by is interested in joining me/us for nice rides...
