Getting a bike safetied from home?

If that was the case Ted would have honoured the safety he performed on a bike I purchased where a number of things were inoperable. Took it to him and he said tough *****, it's not like I actually check things on the bike. He deserves to lose his license.

Getting a bike safetied from home?

I am glad. If I was still in Toronto I would have personally reported Ted for his practices. He shouldn't be in the business of safetying motorcycles if he is not prepared to do it properly. I keep waiting for the day he gets his *** sued off because he did a back of the parking lot safety...

    Parker brothers close shop

Re: Parker Bros. - done I remember shopping at Parker Brothers when I first began riding. Staff was friendly, helpful and had great suggestions. When I lived in Toronto, I bought most of my stuff from them. While it is easy to cast judgement on them, or blame the economy, or blame the...

    Noise Canceling Headphones

I have a pair of Shure in the ear noise isolating ear buds. They are now several years old and continue to work just as good as the day I bought them. Unlike Bose (better technology through marketing :p) they are passive cancelling, not active. The model I have are small enough to fit under...

Funny...I have my bike up on Kijiji for sale

The key with aeroplan points is to not transfer them, but to authorise another user on your account. No fees involved then. What is the value of the bike? Depending on that, I may have him fork up the $2k, plus points and I will give you the cash balance for the points.

You forgot a zero. The reward is actually $1,000,000.

Where to find a Scottoiler in GTA?

Based on the link you provided you are saving the HST, that is all. So for a $16.90 savings you are ordering from the UK rather than supporting a local business? And people wonder why their local brick and mortar stores are disappearing. Sigh!

Is it unethical to walk to a bike dealership and....?

Crap I always wear a suit and clerical collar at a wedding and funeral... that is the last way I want to go to a motorcycle dealership. Hrm, I get paid to be a weddings and funerals, does this mean the dealership will pay me as well? I can dream, can't I? :p

Would you buy a used bike you couldn't test ride?

It was used at a dealership. Even if it was a private sale, why am I wasting the buys time? Don't know how it feels until you ride it. If I liked it, I would have bought it.

Would you buy a used bike you couldn't test ride?

Every bike I bought I have test ridden. 2 were used, the rest new. Every bike I sold I allowed test rides. If I can't take a test ride, I will walk. Having you ride is or a mechanic check it is not the same as how it feels to me. It was a test ride on a BMW which convinced me not to buy...

    Triumph Daytona 955i

I had a tiger 955i, quirky as hell. Parts are not difficult to find for the 955's but they are considerably more than japanese or even newer triumphs.

    Insane Motorcycle Marriage Proposal

At least he had the decency to do it on I-10 out near Covina instead of closer into LA. I consider it a ghetto move, then again, Covina is ghetto.
