Hi, I recently bought an 04' GS500F and unfortunately crashed it soon after. The damage is really only on the front end; the front forks are pretty much broken off and a few fins on the oil cooler look bent, but I think that can be salvaged. Does anyone feel like taking on this kind of work? Or...

Yes I do have the manual, and do see the 20W50 suitable for use in higher temps. Thanks, gonna read the rest of the manual now lol.

Hi.. Brand new to riding and just picked up an 04' GS500F...I took it to a shop to get a service and the dip-stick cap clearly is labeled "10W-40" yet the guy put in 20W-50 synthetic or something like that..do i have to continue to use that type of oil now? Thanks.
