we stayed at the Fontana resort/village. 5 to 10 minutes to deals gap. They have an assortment of cabins or you can stay in the lodge. Probably one of the nicer places I've stayed in down there. If traveling up the blue ridge, little Switzerland resort is also a spectacular place to stay.

I rode inline four's for almost 15 years. Zx's, GSXR's,...then I bought a 998 and never looked back. Since then, I've also owned a KTM RC8. I've ridden a couple of inline four's that belong to friends but would never go back. 2 years ago a bought an Aprilia RSV4. I'm in love!!

Getting back to the Omni at 1 am and seeing an 1198 on it's side in front of the hotel was not a pretty sight. A lot of hooligans around town that weekend. I wouldn't do it.

The storage places I have rented in the past have always had pull cord light fixtures. Just pull the bulb and put in one those gadgets with an outlet and a light socket.
