Blue smoke, good compression. Help appreciated.

Hello everyone. Here's the lowdown on my 1983 Yamaha Virago XV500. At low rpm, front cylinder sputters, little smoke. Rear cylinder fires well and is working fine. At higher rpms, front cylinder fires more readily and gives blue smoke. Front cylinder 160psi, rear is 155psi. Carbs have been...

Shell Rotella T6 oil on Sale at Canadian Tire

I don't know why I can't link to the goddamn page correctly. It seems that whatever link CanadianTire creates doesn't redirect once you try to access the page from outside its site. Bleh.

    S kingsway parking lane.

Can you refer me to where this wording is used? Thanks, KP

Sharing a lane with parked cars: reference request.

As far as I understand: vehicles such as bicycles, scooters and motorcycles are allowed to share a lane when it is partially occupied by parked vehicles. Can someone direct me to the specific law that permits this so that I may quote it in the future? Thank you, KP

    Quick time-lapse of Highway 7.

I don't know if this is of interest to anyone, but I thought I'd share. Rode with the girlfriend on Highway 7 this Saturday from Concord to Havelock, ON. This is a portion of the time-lapsed GoPro footage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIx1YEhln-s

    Toronto to Montreal

The ride through Apsley is awesome! I have a cottage up there and just took that route two weeks ago.

    From scooter to motorcycle.

The original plan was to sell off the scooter after getting the 500. After riding a season on the 500, I found myself constantly going back to the scooter for errand runs and downtown trips, whereas I turned to the 500 for relaxed excursions around town and going for long drives to Barrie, etc...

    From scooter to motorcycle.

Hello all! Glad to find such a vibrant community of two-wheelers here in the GTA. I started out on an '86 125cc Yamaha scooter that I bought for $50 and spent four months restoring after it sat in a farmer's shed for 10 years. It was a lot of work, but I know that little thing inside and out...
