Lots to comment on but most notable is how GM chose to show off their abysmal "Redline" package on EVERY vehicle they brought. Most ridiculous looking factory package I have seen. From Cruze, to Traverse to Silverado's and Camaro's...gack!!!!!!!
Got cheese? Whoever OK'd this at GM needs...
Didn't know that. I still wouldn't buy from them, never have any parts in stock and find stuff is overpriced. They want you to physically come in and pay for an order before they order from their supplier. No credit cards over the phone. F that, it's 2017 FFS. GP bikes has no problem taking...
There's this guy on a yellow Vespa type scooter that I often see on my way to work a few mornings a week. Saw him this morning in the snow squals.
I gotta say, the bike is pretty gay but that guy is a trooper.
Soooo what I'm getting from this is that you hit her, she didn't notice, left with a bunch of scratches on her car, you ran off? You are proud of that?
I took the 407 just once when picking up a new bike which was on a piggyback hitch carrier behind my truck. No plate on bike and rear truck plate must have been blocked by the carrier...never saw that bill.
This forum is so amusing. So many petrified, mundane johnny-law finger wavers that feel compelled to pipe up when anyone modifies anything on their bike. The man wants to have a good sounding exhaust to differentiate himself from every other stock, boring VStar, nothing wrong with that.
I hate people so much, this makes me rage.
Lock your bike to a nearby sign / post with a thick cable lock. Dual purpose protection in your case for theft as well. I do every time I park mine, no one ever moves it.
Re: Who is spooning their own rubber?
Some good advice here. I went the Harbor Freight motorcycle changer adapter route with homemade no-mar modifications since I have their car tire changer already. Worth looking into for a more serious budget setup but there is definately some time input...
Unbalanced wheel, very common if it was a motocrosser. He probably is fully aware and feels it very little anyhow due to the plush / long travel suspension.
I have a street legal motocrosser that I trailer up to Barrie to trail ride. Being blue plated I can still bomb around town and to work when I feel like it. I find street riding very mundane and stressful more than anything. Having the ability to pop off road around town at will, mess around...
I'm sure some leg work would be required to replace signals, lights, wiring, etc. that were ripped off or taken off.
Besides the dumb clutch slipping exercise where they get you to rev the bike up but crawl across the parking lot, the bikes are generally ridden fairly easily by noobs, so...
Learn to swerve people ("SMIDSY"), make yourself seen. Use your whole lane at intersections or any time there is possible impending danger. The single best technique I have adapted and use very often.
I'm a fan of FortNine / Canadas Motorcycle but noticed they consistently have taken 2-3 business days to actually package up and confirm shipment of about 4 of my previous orders. Once shipped they are delivered very quick but that's Canada Post. My most recent order was made last Thursday and...
