You do know you will need an external GPS for an iPod right? Assuming the iPod/iPhone/Android has an internal GPS, I can answer your first question as I recently tried a similar timing app (Racechrono). The internal GPSes on phones are not accurate at all. They have a refresh rate of 1Hz only...

Hey, I called them. The session time is still the same but there are more than 3 groups for sure. She said because of that you might have less track time than a normal track day but on a normal track day most riders tire out near the end anyway.

Well me and my 250 certainly classify as newbies. I like the making 2 groups idea to keep slow poked like me out of the way :P

Are 250 first timers allowed to participate? ;) I would love to join, been aching to take out my ninja250 for a ride but I don't know any roads....
