I've used the Frogg Toggs Road Toad set. I've gone through two pairs of pants and each lasted me two seasons or so. The same jacket lasted through both pairs of pants.
Always listen to Frekeyguy, he knows what he's talking about.
I agree with others that it's the relay. The relay has failed closed and while the bike is running, you can't tell that your starter motor is still on, but it is, and it will burn out if you leave it this way. Replace it with a...
You said you measured full battery voltage between the negative battery terminal and the frame. This sounds like your battery is shorted directly to the frame but that doesn't explain your other symptoms. Verify this by disconnecting the positive battery terminal from the electrical harness and...
I have a 2015 Multistrada DVT. The worse thing that's happened was a blown fork seal on the "mechanical" side at around 8k. A month ago, my wife and I finished a ride out to Newfoundland and back. Rode two-up with camping gear. That trip was 6500 kms and I now have 20k on the bike in the 1 year...
My favourite italian restaurant is Antica Osteria: http://www.anticaosteria.ca/
My favoutie thai restaurant is Georgetown Thai Cuisine: http://www.gthai.ca/
Both are exceptional. Don't ask me to choose between the two. :)
I was looking for something similar and a few people posted some links in my thread.

Thanks for the help everyone! A couple of these places look really promising.
I'm toying with the idea of building custom crash bars or crash cage of some sort. Probably no larger than 1.25" tube, so not pipe or exhaust work.
Hello folks. I'm contemplating a couple of projects but I have neither the knowledge nor the tools to bend tube and cut/weld it. Does anyone on the forum rent out their services or do you know anyone who does?
Also, there are lots of great roads in Pennsylvania and it's only 4 hours away. I was there for a weekend a few weeks back and the roads were great, scenery fantastic.
There's a lot of borning between here and the Rockies! I'd suggest Nova Scotia and Cape Breton or the ride around Lake Superior. I'm heading to NS and NFLD on the bike in the summer and I'll probably do the Lake Superior loop next summer. I went to Cape Breton in the car a few years ago and...
I'm also concerned about which mount you used. I used the motorcycle mount that came with my GPS and I rely on it being safe and secure to hold the GPS in place. I've got a Zumo 390LM and the cradle feels solid to me.
May I ask a few more questions?
a) Do you get permission to use the parking lot by the property owner?
b) Is the parking lot closed to public access when practicing?
c) Have you ever caught the police's attention and do you think there is any risk of being charged with stunting?
A parking lot is private property but with assumed public access. I would think that you could be charged with not having insurance if you're caught even riding in a parking lot. I could be wrong though. Maybe you should ask this question of some of our more insurance-savvy members on GTAM.
