When I park then I use a bicycle cable lock. Thread it through one arm and around my handlebars. Put the jacket over my windscreen.

Usually travel a month at a time in US. First thing I do when I cross the border is find a Walmart and purchase a 'Pay as you go phone' and minutes. Costs around $60 much cheaper than trying to buy a roaming plan form one of our Canadian Ripoff companies.

There is a flip side to that. It's cool to see in the US guys on their big Harleys riding with a full front motorcycle helmet. Not every one is stupid in the US only a select few. If you get caught bringing in something illegal or not declared and it's only minor then it stays on your record (i.e. Passport) for the next three years. This includes Air and Road travel in the U.S. Yep! bin there done that! and had the searches.

I was told at the motorcycle course I took over 30 years ago that "you are not a motorcyclist until your first accident" and from experience over the years it is very true.

Prices just went up 12c to a $1:39 here in Stratford. Got mine 1/2 hr before it went up @ 1:27 :)
