    Stripping Powder Coat

I had the same problem a couple of years ago when I restored the GPZ. There are quite a few places in and around the GTA that do chemical stripping for both powder and paint. I ended up going with Four Star as it was recommended by someone on the board. They are close to the 400 and 407 so its...

    Bank Recommendations

So let me get this straight. It's your money, but they won't give it to you unless your give them a notice period and they also have someone in the head office approve you withdrawing your own money!!! Who runs that bank, Eugene Crabs :)

    Bank Recommendations

I just went through this myself. Was a Royal Bank customer since I started work but reciently switched to TD. I was n the RCAF for 20 years. While I did do some traveling during my service the RCAF took good care of you so you had no real dependence on a bank. I left over a year ago an took a...

    TDot Performance - Horrible Experience

^^^I think the OP's complaint is that you don't know what you are getting into in advance, at least not until they have your money, and by then its too late. I had the same problem when I bought an Air Fuel Meter to set up my carbs. It seemed it was in stock but got an email saying it would be...

    Chinese Fork Tubes

Thanks to all. Its similar to other posts I've read that where the quality is fine, communication is sometimes challenging :) If I do buy I'll buy from the guy in Canada, and I'll also ask on the SOHC4 board. I did think about upgrading the forks, and although its not a concourse restore, I'd...

    Chinese Fork Tubes

Anyone ever use them? I'd like an objective opinion from someone that has actually bought/used them. I'm building a CB750k and there is a Canadian company on Ebay that distributes them - vintagecb750online. He seems to get good ratings 99.3%. would just like some independent feedback Thanks

    Does anyone own a ZX10-R?

^^^ One of my favourite bikes ever. The design still looks good after 14 years, and it looks really clean. Some Kawasaki’s have a timeless feel about them. I still like the 91 ZX7r and the twin shock GPZ’s... beautiful bikes Port Perry per chance?

    Return of Ford Nation

I find that quite insulting, I’m ex-CRAF and I saw enough Ramp Ceremonies in Trenton to know that our vets should be treated better than they are now. I don’t think Harper went far enough but it was a hell of a lot better than Trudeau Many made the ultimate sacrifice and never returned

...are being asked to stay away from terms like Mr., Mrs., father and mother

Just curious. What about French? Does the gendered nature of the language not promote sexist outcomes, or could it potentially be offence to those who do not identify with either gender? Would a gender-neutral version improve women’s and other's status in society? Should it be revised in...

Line boring ( Ariel Square Four was Parkerizing)

Metallurgy advances during World War II saw the Babbitt fall out of favour for regular auto use by the beginning of the 1950’s, however they are still used in heavy gasoline powered equipment. They also also used quite a lot in things like horizontal motors, etc. Just ask a Plant Engineer They...

    Officially Unemployed

Thanks, but all I really did was maintain planes, and even then the engine is really just a big fan on a stick :) Many people did much more than me, and many paid the ultimate price.

They may be a bit of a dirty word in Canada at the moment but I'm going to Boeing... LOL. Working on the Defence side as a contractor.

    Officially Unemployed

Well, after 20 years with the RCAF Friday was my last day. It feels strange but it was time. The last 18 months have been a bit of a death march. Anyway. I have a few off before I start something new so we are heading to New Zealand for a 8 weeks. I rented a R1200GS for some of the thie. Will...
