TL, DR; the reasons the MTO/ safety courses say is a) you want full control in an intersection, pulling the clutch means you lose power for that split second and b) if you mess up the shift (accidentally over-rev the engine) you can spin the rear wheel, and unless you know what youre doing...

i put heavier oil in mine and it was a night and day difference with the bike, the stock oil is light weight and mine weren't even filled fully.

I just use eBay for all my parts, just have to bite the bullet with wait times as most of the parts you'd need to wait regardless of where you get them from.
