Well I ended up getting approved for the $870 quote on the GSXR750 so I went ahead and put the deposit down. If anyone wants the name of the agent that helped me out on this one, I'll gladly pass it along. They're based in Cambridge, fyi.
I was inspired by this thread to see what people are asking for my bike. Behold: a 2011 FZ6R US Import for $7300

New ones cost $8k. In fact, they're offering financing at...
I should clarify, I wasn't so interested in knowing the exact route, just surprised that it apparently doesn't include the only busy highway interchange in the city. Although I am having a good laugh at the number of people assuming I have to be looking for an easy way out, that's that charm...

Hoping to get out within an hour. Damn work...
Still though, I can't believe this weather. Or is this the new climate? Maybe I don't have to move out of Ontario during winter after all.
Thanks for the info! And since my bike is nothing special (09 FZ6R... I mean, I think it's pretty but I suppose everyone thinks their child is special) I'm probably over reacting to the theft threat. Who's going to bother with a 4 grand bike when there are so many nicer targets, right?
