Tire Installs By Ricardo AKA GTA Tire Guy

Another recommendation Huge thumbs up for Ricardo and to Glen (for posting about him). I needed new tires on my (new to me) bike for this season. The thought of removing the wheels to take in somewhere was a bit daunting (hadn't done it before) and alternatively hauling the bike up onto the...

    Ninja 650r Problems?

Don't know about the more recent models but i haven't had to make any top ups in between changes on my 2008. No other issues to report besides an under-sprung suspension - but that is a known flaw.

Completed the M2 exit course (M)

Loosen old habits that could keep you from harm. But each to their own. I found the course beneficial and the fact that the instructors also test you - and genuinely want you to pass - helps to make the process much more enjoyable.

'06-'08 Gen Ninja 650R. Anything outdated about it?

Agree with Jampy. They are always coming up for sale, you can afford to ask for a safety if it worries you. FYI, I paid 5500 for an '08 with 6k on it (last year). Just remember the sales tax on top of the list price.

'06-'08 Gen Ninja 650R. Anything outdated about it?

I'm riding an '08 650R as my second bike. Agree with others that it is not the most high-tech option on the road but for the price you are paying and the reliability of these engines they are hard to beat. it has great power for the highway and to be honest unless you rev her and dump the...

    Almost Hit - Safety Remider

What really gets me is hearing the attitude of some of these people after nearly injuring/killing another person. Avoiding eye contact or just plain attitude! Thank goodness you riders had the awareness and presence of mind to move quickly. Hopefully I have the same when/if I run into one of...

Hi from new-ish rider on the Danforth

Hi all, started off dirt-biking (2yrs ago) but just switched up to a 650R to get some more time in the saddle (and less time away from the family). Hope to meet some relaxed weekend riders from the east-end of the city.
