Finally out for a ride. Last day for this deal and battery felt a bit sluggish from no riding for a while. Will try for at least 100km jaunt today. Forgot I put in a 12volt socket so should have topped tires up earlier. Front was down to 23 psi ....too low. All good now. There is no justice...

The CBF1000 had lots of thrill at the throttle and horrid range. I'll take the range. Wringing the neck of the unladen Vstrom 650 was much fun in the twists if you kept the revs 7k+ yet still allowed 400+km range. Good feature mix.
