Unable to change ownership on a Alberta v-rod 650 with rebuilt title

I would contact Sonic and check the status on the ownership of this bike: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-motorcycle-parts-accessories/london/2003-yamaha-v-star-650-parts-bike/1011611772?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true...

    Magnesium wheel crack testing

You want to check with Exova testing, their components lab at the Winston Churchill / QEW location can do the compressive, tensile, fatigue etc. There might be specific fixturing for wheel testing required though. sales@exova.com or 905-822-4111

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

http://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes/sarnia/1995-yamaha-yzf-750/605683140?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true Given the photos in the ad, I feel any price would be too much.

Can you low ball a dealership?

A lack of paperwork would be a bad thing in this case. Your goal should be to get a piece of paper with every cost included and detailed for an all-in price of $22,000. Don't sign anything less. Many dealers will alter trade in values, add superfluous charges (window security etching...

Can you low ball a dealership?

Anytime where you stick to the original budget / number that you came in with, it was a smart move. There is a certain value that the car has to you, and in this case, it appears to be $22k. I would give him a day or two to dwell and then follow up. I would say that you're ready to move on...

I have a bag of misc. gs500 jets from when I had one 8 bikes ago. If you let me know what sizes you need, they're yours for free (assuming I have it). Cheers, Adam

    Claiming an abandoned bike

dear god man, there is a litany of bikes on Kijiji at this time of year for well under a grand. Surely your time could be better spent on something that doesn't sound like a rusty death-trap. I'm the cheapest bastard alive and I wouldn't go down this road.

Stripped oil drain hole (my temporary solution for review)

This is one of those moment where heading to a well stocked Canadian tire would be usefull. In the auto tool section, many have a m14 repair kit for blind holes. They also stock a lot of drain plugs as well as universal ones for stripped holes. Adam

Upgrading from SS 600cc to litre bike

I bought a CBR1100xx, more sport-touring than the bikes you're looking at but the power curve is fantastic. Being able to roll on the throttle in almost any gear is fantastic. It seems alot of the opinions in this thread are from people with 250s and 600s, I would take those with a grain of salt...
