I forgot to update this thread. How did everyone know i use T6? LOL So yeah, i put the bike up on the rear and front stands and removed the cover. A few drops came out, nothing more. Thanks for all the feedback.

Bike is now in running condition. Stator Cover and Shifter have been replaced. Bike started up fine with no issues.

Apologies. Updated the original post. Yes the stator does have some oil in the case. No issue draining it. I am more curious.

Edit: The bike is an 08 CBR 1000rr Need to replace the stator cover but not sure how much of oil the 08 CBR holds. Do i have to drain the oil prior to taking the cover off? Or can i lean the bike to the right side and not have to drain it?

I understand no one wants to buy a bike that is not running. Bike will be up and running soon. Just waiting for the stator cover to come in. A new shifter is already on the bike. Thanks

Vesrah RJL I did my research a few years ago when i was in the market for new pads. Someone did a nice writeup and compared the top brands. In the end, Vesrah came out on top. I will try and find that write up for you.
