Helmet: AGV K1
Summer Jacket: Alpinestars T-GP Plus R V2 (a mouthful i know).
Cold Weather Jacket: Alpinestars Andes V3. Just got this in the mail and will test it out tomorrow!
Gloves: For summer Im using a pair of Dainese 4 stroke 2 short cuffs and for colder weather a pair of Scorpion...
Rode till the start of october last year with just my summer jacket and a **** ton of layers which was definitely a mistake cause i got cold FAST. Decided to get a new jacket that was waterproof and had a thermal liner for colder weather that just came in the mail today! No heated gear for me...
didnt even know there were meet ups happening, hows the turn outs been so far?
I would probably be the youngest there but id be down to pull up for the next!
that makes more sense. Thankfully ive never gotten pulled over once since ive been gotten my drivers license back in high school lol. Hoping to keep that streak going!
yeah not really looking to vlog stuff since wiring a mic up would be a pain in the ass and cause im a lazy **** lol. Also is it illegal to have a cam on your helmet? Never heard of anyone (from who i know) that got a ticket for it.
yeah ive heard wind noise is pretty bad but apparently its not so much of an issue with newer cameras so i guess ill find out when its a little warmer out hopefully next week!
Had a few close calls last year with people running stop signs and turning into my lane so this year i decided to get a go pro as a safety thing (plus to record some cool things i see on rides). Do any of you guys ride with cameras?
I only got a pair of scorpion tempest gloves and they aren't cutting it for this weather, same with my jacket. Guess my little CBR300r going into the garage for the season :(
just got a quote from desjardins for $1478!! It pays to shop around a bit! im still gonna look through a few more companies but im glad i scrolled through the forums looking for companies i should check out
i did get a few quotes and for the most part they seemed in the $2k range, i asked a few companies the difference between a cbr300 and ninja 300 was and generally the answer was there is a negligible difference
$400 a month sounds right for a cbr300??? God damn, a friend of mine got his license the same time as me and got his ninja 300 quoted for one $1650 a year. If that's the case i might sell the little honda and get a ninja
