    The Motorcycle Show -Feb 20 21 22

Had a CBR250R, when the 500 came out i thought "twice the fun!".. Didn't like it at all. i thought my 250 was a lot more fun to ride. The 500 honda was just very bland. And efore you dismiss my opinion, I have been riding for 32 years, including a lot of time on a race track. To me if i was...

What do you think about this bike/scenario as a beginner?

They dont usually foul... The carbs are known to need cleaning if they sit with fuel in them. Small pilots plug very easy with this crap we call gasoline now... Any 250 ninja ( or small displacement carbureted bike) can suffer from this. That first one is a total scam. that exact story is used...

EPA acknowledges that ethanol damages engines

I have an 88 FZR 400 and tend to use Shell 91 most of the time. If I am burning the tank the same day, I tend not to worry about it too much, but I did find that the bike did not like the Esso brand much at all. Just never really ran well with that in it. Since then I avoid Esso for the old girl.

    ethanol and effects on engine...

In my old bikes I try and avoid ethanol. They were not designed for it. If I know i am burning the tank that day, I put in whatever is handy, if I know its going to sit, then shell 91. In my new bike (2013 Fazer 8 ), I run 87 from any name brand station. Its a new bike, its designed for up to...

Choosing black paint - assistance please?

To give it a really deep look afterwards, use lemon pledge furniture polish and rub it in by hand before buffing with a soft dry cloth. Paint will look about 4 feet thick... used to do this on my 84 KZ 750..... It really worked better than anything else at the time.

    Got vintage?

Thanks! I owned one new in 88 but beat her up pretty bad at Shannonville and Sanair. Figured I needed to find one to make pretty again as restitution. They are great little bikes and still handle telepathically.
