yes I let go of the starter and it kept going. however it did seem to me like it was starting. is it possible that the timing is waaaaay off?

the starter flywheel. both spark plugs are firing. I got some info and a few believe that the flywheel is loose.

Re: How many times(revolutions) can you hand crank an engine with no oil(residual o nonono. i used an impact wrench on the flywheel(to install it). However after I did that it was harder to hand crank the engine. Bike is away from me and I have yet to try with the sparkplugs out.

bike is away from me now so I will try to diagnose. But as soon as I impact wrenched on the flywheel it was harder to turn. In addition is sounded like i could hear the gears moving. I will try again without the sparkplugs. Thank you so far its been staying hard. however i haven't turned it...

Okay will do. However is the reason that it was harder to turn mean anything?

Ok reason is that it feels like it's getting harder to turn. Mind you this is after I installed a flywheel, could this be because there is absolutely no oil in these parts?
