We drove down to the Big Easy a few years ago and had a great time! We especially liked Charleston, Pensacola (of all places), New Orleans of course, and Nashville...and driving the highways in Kentucky was stunning. Yeah, it for sure is true that much of what remains is kitchy and touristy...

Just as a follow up that I had forgotten to post about, we did end up basically doing the trip above though we bailed on the PCH since we arrived on the Saturday of the labour day weekend and didn't want to fight traffic and high hotel rates near San Fran...Instead we rode from LA to Lone Pine...

I am riding Route 66 from LA to Chicago in September. Planning to spend most of my time ambling around the south west though - so many places to see there! Renting a Harley from EagleRiders and riding it old-school. I think it should be lots of fun. It's not so much the places I've found while...

So, it works out that EagleRiders has a deal on for travelling from LAX to O'Hare, which was to great to pass up...so we are going to try the old "Route 66" ride on a Harley Electra Glide. I've ridden a GS 800 and it'd be too small for a two week trip, and I can't swing my leg over the 1200...

Eagleriders has a self-guided tour through death valley, and they rent harleys, so...I am not sure... As for renting a GS - yeah, that'd be okay but I am doing 2-up riding with my gf and we need the luggage space :) The Harley Electra glide or the Indian are the likely candidates...they cost...

Hi everyone, I have an '84 Nighthawk 650 and over the winter some moisture must've gotten to my choke cable because it's totally seized up. I took it off and tried lubing it but it is way too sticky to use. So, since it's such an old bike I am wondering where I could get a new one. Tried ebay...

1) I doubt that you'd be able to get away with this assuming that he got your plate and/or was able to track you down. 2) You should really face up to the fact that you got caught speeding and be prepared to face the consequences. It is surprising how many people say that their own speeding...

Well, after looking at a couple ninjas, including a nearly brand new 600 for an awesome price, I decided to go a different direction and am just finalizing a deal for an '84 650 Nighthawk. It'll be much better for insurance, and a good first bike IMO...plus it won't break any banks at a price...
