    I'm interested, let me know.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

That's life. If you want to make a change, make it. I've seen too many old bitter employees that wasted life procrastinating. As for me this is my last kick of the can, so I figured best to see any options before they are completely gone.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

It's rough, I've started my search again and I'm clearly too old, experienced and expensive. Gone through many successful interviews only to get the we're looking for a junior blah blah blah. Even though I meet or exceed all requirements. But I'm fortunate to be employed, I'm looking more for...

When are you guys going to get your act together?!?!

Good to see an actual decision being made. Hopefully the rest of Canada will follow suit, but I'm not holding my breath.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I was thinking of tackling this project myself, but don't want to replace bad workmanship with slightly less bad workmanship. Lol

F@ck Uber and the car they rode in on

So true. There is a restaurant by us and twice a day everyday the younger employees go grab breakfast then lunch. I'd say the spend between 20-40 bucks a day on food. I used to grab a coffee but once it turned into a habit I started bringing a thermos to work and save the 4-6 bucks week.

Siding is handyman special, not putting any money into it. When our budget is better we'll replace. Hopefully it survives until then.

Interesting, I have no clue on pricing but regardless I don't have 29k and no plans on borrowing any money this year. Too many payments already.

If we order, we always pick up. Never used a delivery service and due to where we live never will. They'll either refuse, miss our house or get stuck.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

4k for eaves, soffits and facia including repairs to previous work. This is just for the back of the house 2 straight sections of maybe 70ft total and 3 downspouts. Siding was 29k for aluminum and 1" foam insulation. We need it done but don't have 29k and don't want to replace junk with new...

In the process of getting quotes for new eaves, soffits, facia. The handyman specials are on the end of their life. Just waiting to see some numbers but I already suspect it'll be the only project we do for 2026.

    New boats $$$$$$$$$$

Perhaps that is the reason for the increased prices. Less buyers results in higher prices, higher prices means less buyers and so on. I'm not a boat guy but in other markets it the same very steep price increases no notable reason.
