I will have to disagree with you. For a first time rider the 300 is one of the better bikes. Some new riders are not comfortable enough to go to a bigger bike and truly not experienced enough to ride a bigger bike. With the 300 starting at just over $5000 it is not double the price of the 250...

I know of 2 people that have rode the new Ninja 300 and they both were very impressed with the performance of it. The fuel injection is one of the best things on the bike now. With the extra power and the bigger rear tire the bike handles and performs amazing in the turns and around the city...

Here to learn about motorcycles and get advice. I have my own opinion and will be willing to share when appropriate. Glad to see such a large community of motorcycle riders all in one place helping each other out and giving advice to the ones that want and need it.
